An exciting adventure

China was a crazy awesome trip. I didn't have any expectations before china so when we landed it was probably the most eye opening experience. The country is really pretty with a bunch of trees and grass. The city of Yanti is really nice. That's where we had the Bring Me Hope camp and spent a week with the most amazing kids. The camp for the kids was super amazing and a week I'll never forget. Everyday I got to learn more about each of my girls and play with them and swim with them and just show the love of Christ with them! The three days in Beijing were amazing. We did everything touristy. Like climb the Great Wall see an acrobat show and walk around and ride the subway. There are way too many stories to write on here but  I would gladly go back next year.

So now the camp with the kids is done and it was way too hard to say goodbye to all the kids. God was so good. Our kids were so amazing and five got adopted!!!!! So cool. Saturday morning we woke up at 4am and it is now 10pm and in outlet new place in Beijing. We took two trains and walked. It's been super crazy. We are all tired. We all have a cold and are super sweaty. There was no way of preparing for any of this. But we are still alive and surviving in china. What a trip. 

China. Day one and two.

It's been in interesting two days. Monday the kids came early and we had some time to get to know our kids. I've been blessed with two girls who are just great. There's been something to do everyday and every hour. Monday afternoon we did a water park and splashed around in water and it was a blast. Today (Tuesday) had been a really full day so far. We had some family time and face painting. And stopped at KFC for ice cream. Everyone has had many challenges and is exhausted at bed time. Thankfully we have a two hour nap time every day and us volunteers get a break from our kids. On another note the food isn't American food. Breakfast is not a favorite. Lunch varies as well as dinner. 

It's been crazy but good. We miss all things American but  it's definitely an experience to never forget.
